Welcome to the NZ Chapter 2011 Lighting Design Awards program. The designer, owner or any other principal participant in the design of a lighting installation, may submit an entry for these awards. The entrant need not be a member of IES: The Lighting Society. The Awards program is not a competition; however, each project/entry is adjudicated on its own merits. You will need to contact Jolanda Taljaard (address below) for entry form and packs. The closing dates for the 2011 New Zealand Chapter Lighting Awards for both the Lighting Design (LiDA) and Luminaire Design (LuDA) will be 5pm 29 July 2011 and the awards function will be held on 4 November 2011 at The Floating Pavilion in Auckland.   Note the entry requirements attached. Venue:  How to find the Floating Pavilion:

The Floating Pavilion is now located in the heart of the Viaduct Harbour.
 

If travelling by car, turn into the eastern viaduct pay and display car park on the corner of Hobson and Quay
Streets.

Alternatively use the down town car park building with access from Customs Street West. There is an overbridge from this car park that connects with the pedestrian walkway of the viaduct harbour.
