The IES-The Lighting Society is for all individuals interested in light or working in the lighting industry in Australia and New Zealand.  The Victorian Chapter is a dynamic, diverse group from all areas of the lighting industry – from design to manufacturing.  Monthly technical meetings showcase technology and design, regulations and sustainability schemes.  The IES holds an annual Lighting Design Awards (VLiDA), Luminaire Design Awards (VLuDA) and this year for the first time a Lighting Technical Representative award (VLiTRA) open to all.  The award programs highlight the best of the lighting industry and culminate in a gala event in October.  Membership is open to anyone with an interest in lighting.
