It is with great pleasure that the ACT branch of IES: The Lighting Society invite you to partake in a tour of the Mt. Stromlo Observatory in Canberra.
Arranged by Caleb King and Tim Shotbolt through their affiliations with the Dark Sky Society, along with Brad E. Tucker from the ANU we have a rare opportunity to explore the facility at Mt. Stromlo Observatory.
ERCO has generously offered to sponsor the event, and Caleb King from ERCO will give a talk on his experience in lighting for Dark Sky conditions at Mt John observatory in the McKenzie country, new Zealand in 2005.
Brad E. Tucker will fill us in on the goings on out at Stromlo, and give us a look around the exciting facility, and provide us with a chance for some star gazing of our own. (Cross fingers for a clear sky!!)
