The Heights Observatory consists of two observatory buildings.
- The Papaelia Observatory is a traditional domed observatory housing a 14-inch f/10 Meade LX200 GPS ACF Schmidt Cassegrain telescope.
- The Ingham Family Rooms is a roll-off roof building that doubles as a classroom for students studying astronomy. It contains a superior quality 12.5" Ritchey-Chrétien Cassegrain telescope from Optical Guidance Systems on a Losmandy HGM 200 mount.
In addition to the permanent observatory buildings, The Heights Observatory also has a large portable 16-inch Meade reflecting telescope, a 10-inch Dobsonian and a variety of other visual and imaging equipment.
