The IES Qld Chapter is holding a photographic competition with the subject of street and public area lighting displaying the qualities of 'The Good - The Bad - And The Ugly'. Entries will be displayed and judged on a people's choice basis at the Trevor Caswell Benefit event on the evening of 18th July.

The IESANZ Queensland Chapter invites entrants to submit their photographs of street and public lighting displaying the qualities of ‘The Good – The Bad – And The Ugly’.  Photographs may be of anything that represents street and public area lighting – complete installations, luminaires, poles, beautiful lighting, or humorous ‘fails’.  This is a friendly competition in good humour and not in any way an ‘elitist’ photographic competition.  As such, cameraphone, ‘Instagram’, and photo-montage type images are welcome.  Photographs should be recent – preferably shot for the competition.  Entries should be accompanied with a short statement, 50 words or less, about the image – for ‘the ugly’ the story may be as important as the image!

Images will be printed by the IESANZ Queensland Chapter and displayed at Trevor Caswell benefit on the evening of 18th July 2013.  Winners will be judged on a people’s choice basis on the night.  Graham Palmer of Constant Energy, will present the winner with a prize valued at $1,600 plus GST – a full Perfect Lite software suite complete with 12 months’ support.  Additionally the winner will be recognised and receive a certificate at the Annual Awards Dinner.

There is a fee of $25.00 per entry which shall be donated, in full, to the Trevor Caswell Benefit Fund.  See the PDF entry form to the right for further details on how to enter.
