An exciting opportunity has arisen for a successful Lighting Sales Consultant in providing tailored lighting solutions and residential mechanical services to architects, lighting engineers and other key customer groups. You will need to develop and nurture relationships with these key influencers and delight them with superior service. This is an autonomous role for a self-driven and well-motivated individual. It will become a richly rewarding role for the right person with the right motivations.
You will have a proven record of professional presentation skills, strong at building and maintaining relationships and be well organised. You will be energized by challenges and have an ambition to make a difference. Although this role is based in the Auckland area, you will need to be flexible in your approach to meet the needs of customers, along with overnight travel involved.
Technical product sales experience is critical to this role especially if well-grounded in the lighting industry. The successful applicant will be fully conversant with the construction industry specification process and be able to uncover new sales opportunities. You will be able to work as part of a national team and assist on a consulting basis where necessary. MS Office literacy is a must, and computer lighting design experience would be very advantageous. A professional demeanour and honest approach in your work ethic is important to our values.
